cross stitch me!

I think it would be cool to have some of my lyrics in some stupid cross stitch book where folks could make beautiful, frame-able, "words of wisdom" art of dumb stuff like this:

Killin’ Down in Dillon
Words and music by Terry Anderson

Mama knew that Wanda was a’ ready and a willin’
When she slipped out of the window and she headed off to Dillon
With the boy that mama said who looked like Arnold Schwarzenegger
Getting married to the first one that was dumb enough to take her
When she went into her bedroom and discovered she was missin’
She grabbed her sawed off shotgun and a box of ammunition

She said “if they tie the knot there’ll be a killin’ down in Dillon”
“if they tie the knot there’ll be a killin’ down in Dillon”

In her Chevy Monte Carlo mama took off trying to catch’m
Talked a woman that she worked with into going to help her fetch’m
She packed a ragged t-shirt and another pair of jeans
A half a fifth of Dickel and her biker magazines
a’lookin’ at the woman while’a ballin’ up her fist
she took another hit o’ Dickel said “I’m gonna tell you this…”

“if they tie the knot there’ll be a killin’ down in Dillon”
“if they tie the knot there’ll be a killin’ down in Dillon”
“if they tie the knot there’ll be a killin’ down in Dillon”
“if they tie the knot there’ll be a killin’ down in Dillon”

Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba….solo

Mama saw his El Camino it was parked out on the street
By a rusty metal sign a’ readin’ “Justice of the Peace”
Slammin’ on the brakes, she threw that woman to the floor
Grabbin’ Wanda by the hair and up the aisle and out the door
Left the boyfriend at the altar with his mouth hung open wide
And told my baby sister when she got’r butt outside

“If you’d ‘a tied that knot there’d been a killin’ down in Dillon”
“If you’d ‘a tied that knot there’d been a killin’ down in Dillon”
“If you’d ‘a tied that knot there’d been a killin’ down in Dillon”
“If you’d ‘a tied that knot there’d been a killin’ down in Dillon”

I'm thinking "Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba..." would make a lovely cross-stitch.
