easy as 1, 2 ,3..

I guess it’s not too early to talk about the upcoming OakTeam tour. Why, it’s only a week from today that I get in the van with some of my favorite people in the world and take the fun and joy to the peeps of Ohio, one of the last states who still “get” the Rock AND the Roll! It’s always a blast having crowds who scream and dance and seem starved for good music. The ignunce begins in Columbus at The Rumba Room on Thursday, Oct.1. It’s an earlier show so bring the kids, we’ll get’m to bed in time for school on Friday! Oct.2 is our triumphant return to The Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland. There may be a surprise guest (Florence Dore,…damnit! I blew the surprise!) to get up and sing with the band on her favorite song from “National Champions”, the new OakTeam record that’s sweeping the nation! And the cherry on top of the weekend (other than our occasional stops at Dairy Queen) will be our show at Route 33 Rhythm and Blues in beautiful Wapakoneta on Saturday the 3rd. This place gets CRAZY yo! Brother Ron takes damn good care of the band too, always providing plenty o’ drinks and the best pizza in Ohio, if not the country.
So plan now for which show you’re gonna attend and here’s a thought, why not ALL of’m? Afterall, every show is different AND we’re planning on playing a few NEW OakTeam songs never before performed live!

If I wasn't going to see Mott The Hoople re-union on those dates I might have been there .... I'll get there one day.
Cheers
