Big show coming to Raleigh
Hot dog! Some of the most vile music ever is about to hit the stage in our fine town of Raleigh, NC. It's, let me get this straight, either Journey, Styx and Def Leppard or Styx, Foreigner and Journey, something like that, anyway 3 hideous acts together again, making all in attendance wanna throw up in their mouths. It's insane to me that any one would still give a crap about any of them. I wish 8, yes eight! people would show up to that shit. You know we almost fired our engineer because he bought some Rush tickets? Hey! and get this, once after a Yayhoos show at the Abbey Pub in Chicago someone actually approached me and asked if either I or the Yayhoos would be interested in contributing a track to a Styx tribute record that he was working on. Uhhh..dude did you just see us play that rock and roll gig? Now what in the HELL gave you the idea that we would want to do our version of "Mr. Roboto" or "I'm sailing Away..." or the one that starts out "Laaaaaaayyydeeee! when you're with me I'm crying.."" or what ever he sings. What a big 'ol bunch of shit that music is. Oh MY GOD! They suck!

A Styx tribute album, "Songs that suck more than you remember".
So I guess I shouldn't bother to ask if you want to contribute to my Bon Jovi tribute project?

Yeah, three "killer" bands, probably with a total of three original members as well.
God, I hated Styx, Journey, and Foreigner all three.
Hey, that guy at the Abbey Pub in Chicago after the Yayhoos gig who asked you about the Styx Tribute Album...that was ME!
The album turned out pretty cool... unlikely Styx fans covering their favorite Styx tunes. A lot of great musicians appear on the project, including Tom Freund, Jon Brion, and Jim Roll.
Terry, it would have been awesome to have your interpretation of a Styx song on that record!
Styx, Journey & Foreigner all in one place? There's never a nutjob with an assault rifle around when you need one.
