wapak tonight

  Posted by Picasa

Well, I've got about an hour to rest before our (The Yayhoos) last show of this run and maybe this year. Wapakoneta is an odd choice for a big blow out last gig you say? Oh no no! You just wouldn't understand unless you've been to a show at Rythym & Brews on Rt.33. Ron is the man. He takes good care off his artists and what's really great about him is that he likes all the same kinda music we liked growing up, Mott the Hoople, Alice Cooper, Humble Pie, Free, Faces etc. We're gonna do 2 sets for the people, an extravaganza night of Yayhoos music including solo stuff that we haven't been doing on this tour. We are all pretty worn out but I think it's gonna be a big night. I keep hearing rumors of folks driving 4, 5, 6 and possibly more hours for this thing...so we WILL get up for it and bring the Rock!
Everyone scatters in the morning. Me, headed back to NC after dropping Dan off at his car in Lexington, KY and 'Scoe and Keith headed back to NYC. I love all those guys and I love all of you who showed up on this tour and gave us your love. There are a lot more pictures to come and a recap of the entire 2 weeks as soon as I return home.
"Keep on rockin' in the free world!"
