OK, so Jack and I signed the new OakTeam live record up for digital download service with our friends Dave and Andy over at Deep South (I say Souf) Entertainment. One of the great things they'll be doing is pairing us up with other artists who are actually selling records. So when you buy an NRBQ record, for instance, there will be a note at the bottom saying that if you like NRBQ then you'll LOVE The Olympic Ass-Kickin' Team's "When the OakTeam Comes to Town". So now they got us sittin' around thinkin' "who do you guys pair up well with?" My first thought was Southern Culture on the Skids. But I'm sure there are many others, and they don't want Rolling Stones blah blah blah, Faces blah blah blah..they need current, hip and hick. So there, talk amongst yourselves and git back with me. You may be very helpful in making the OakTeam come to YOUR town. Ya never know...if we sell enough records..uh..downloads!
