new! this weekend!

I’m pretty beat down from two days and nights of going up and down a ladder and rehearsin’ rock and roll music with 2 bands. But WOW! How much fun are these gigs gonna be this weekend? First of all, The OakTeam rehearsed Tuesday night for the show Sunday night at The Pour House celebrating Jac and Lutie Cain’s anniverary. We’ll start about 8pm and be doing NEW songs from the NEW record and MAN, are they fun to play! I’m sure We’ll do “Willie Mayes”, “Indy 500”, “Goin’ or Comin’”, “Lost Your Number” and “Had Me at Get Lost”…and who knows what else, so show up to that find out.
Then last night, I rehearsed with Chip Robinson’s Heavy Beat Outfit for his show at The Pour House on Saturday night. That one is always a lot of fun and speaking of NEW songs, Chip will be doing songs from his new Eric “Roscoe” Ambel produced CD, Mylow. With Roscoe at the helm, you KNOW its gonna sound good and Chip’s outdone himself (with occasional help from ‘Scoe) writing this new batch of tunes. So two big nights, two big bands and I can’t help myself…TOO much fun!!
