This past weekend was beautiful here and I stayed busy with the gig at Sadlacks on Saturday night and (with Grace and Nathan) visiting our friends Florence Dore, Will Rigby and their cutie little daughter, Lucy. Sunday was a perfect day for a swim so we drove to their place in Durham and hung out by the pool and had a few beers. Other than Nathan showing his ass and embarrassing the hell out of us most of the day we had a great time. I actually didn’t drink THAT much this weekend so I’m thinking that maybe I don’t need to go to the doctor and get a prescription for that Liquor-ette gum afterall.
“37 Miles in Reverse” is still on the short list to be on the new George Thorogood record. I hear the band really likes it. It might be a good’ern for him.
Raining like a cow pissin’ on a flat rock outside at this writing. Man! We need this!
With our engineer on vacation to the Bahamas there’s no Rock history tracking going on this week. But the OAKTeam will probably meet up sometime this week and decide not only what needs to be added on but all the parts that need to be taken off, or fixed. The really good vocal mike is back from the shop and I’m sure there’s gonna be a lot of screaming and hollerin’ going on over there when Jon gets back, hell it was prolly MY yellin’ that broke it! With my son’s record done, there’s nothing on the studio schedule but us until this bad boy gets done, unless Keith Christopher gets a wild hair and decides to come down to finish his record.

Please tell me what has happened with Debra DeMilo. I have seen her name a couple of times, but have no clue what happened to her, where she is or if she's even still performing. My old friend Scott told me she had become a housewife, but that's a huge waste of talent. (If you knew Scott you can hear his magical laughter now)
